| Tracy Eng - President | ||
![]() |
Tracy Eng graduated in 2004 with her B.S. in Business Administration, concentrating in Management Consulting. She has had the fortunate opportunity to be a Senior Recruiter for Warner Bros. Entertainment for the past two years, helping people find jobs all while spotting celebrities on the studio lot. Tracy lives in Glendale and can't live without a few things: traveling to Hawaii every year, having a cold can of Coke every day, and being married to Jared Eng, a fellow Trojan. Tracy is going into her fourth year as a TJA member. During her first year, she served as a Membership Committee member and helped increase TJA's presence on campus through such activities as sorority study break visits during finals week, TJA's Meet & Greet event at the Alumni House, and TJA's sponsorship of the candles for Women Student Assembly's annual "Take Back the Night" candlelight walk. In her second year, Tracy served as Membership Chair and put together a successful Membership Reception while reducing costs by more than 50%. She and her committee also executed TJA's first Membership Roadshow through a series of visits to sorority houses during Senior Week. Tracy took a nice break her third year as President-Elect, quietly shadowing the President, and is now excited to continue as President this year, ensuring that the goals and traditions of TJA continue to enrich the lives of both its members and undergraduate women at USC. I have a boyfriend, who I've been with on-and off with for the better part of the last decade... We were college sweethearts, went our separate ways and ended up back together over the years. Education: 1996 BS Exercise Science from USC; 2000 MS Kinesiology/Exercise Physiology from CSUN; 2001 Masters in Health Administration from USC. TJA Experience: When I joined in 2002, I wanted to play an active role in the group but didn't know how to do it. Fortunately, at that time, my opportunity came when the board was recruiting new members for open positions. Since then, I have taken on various positions and I've greatly enjoyed each role. The positions that I have taken on included Scholarship, Programs (2 years), Membership, Special Projects (11/2 years), and President-Elect. Over the years, many of my new friendships came about through TJA, and I am truly proud to be part of this group! And, I am especially proud to take on the role as President for the 2007-2008 year!! If you need to get in touch with me, please email me at president@usctja.com. Leadership Experience: In addition to my role as a TJA board member, I have also led various teams to success throughout my career. Throughout my 5.5 years at Health Net, I have directed many large scale, multi-faceted initiatives that have contributed to improving quality of care, customer and provider satisfaction, and increasing membership. Currently, I lead a team of five associates who are focused on making Health Net "A Better Decision" for our members, providers, and employer groups.
