| Scarlett Ramirez Holguin - Editor | ||
![]() |
Scarlett Ramirez Holguin graduated from USC in 1999 with a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science, and a minor in Law and Society. While UCLA was the school Scarlett was being pushed towards, one visit to the USC campus with her mother changed her mind. While at USC Scarlett was a commuter student, she would come in five days a week and go to a junior college on the weekend so she could graduate in 3 years. After graduating, Scarlett dabbled in law classes and child development classes and eventually was working both at a law firm and for Los Angeles Unified School District. Scarlett is currently a principal for Eastman Early Education Center and Murchison Early Education Center in the East Los Angeles Area. Scarlett has been a member of TJA since 2008 and enjoys catching up with friends at the monthly meetings. When Scarlett is not at her schools, molding future Trojans, she can be found out and about with her husband Chuck, one of the "biggest" USC fans you will ever meet, reading, shopping, or visiting her family. As a more recent member of TJA and newly elected TJA editor, Scarlett hopes to bring a fresh perspective to our monthly newsletter. FIGHT ON! She can be reached at editor@usctja.com. |

| Tracy Eng - Parlimentarian | ||
![]() |
Tracy Eng graduated in 2004 with her B.S. in Business Administration, concentrating in Management Consulting. She has had the fortunate opportunity to be a Senior Recruiter for Warner Bros. Entertainment for the past two years, helping people find jobs all while spotting celebrities on the studio lot. Tracy lives in Glendale and can't live without a few things: traveling to Hawaii every year, having a cold can of Coke every day, and being married to Jared Eng, a fellow Trojan. Tracy is going into her fourth year as a TJA member. During her first year, she served as a Membership Committee member and helped increase TJA's presence on campus through such activities as sorority study break visits during finals week, TJA's Meet & Greet event at the Alumni House, and TJA's sponsorship of the candles for Women Student Assembly's annual "Take Back the Night" candlelight walk. In her second year, Tracy served as Membership Chair and put together a successful Membership Reception while reducing costs by more than 50%. She and her committee also executed TJA's first Membership Roadshow through a series of visits to sorority houses during Senior Week. Tracy took a nice break her third year as President-Elect, quietly shadowing the President, and is now excited to continue as President this year, ensuring that the goals and traditions of TJA continue to enrich the lives of both its members and undergraduate women at USC. You can email her at parlimentarian@usctja.com.
